Central Bank: Mozambique’s economy to grow 7 percent next year

Mozambique’s economy will grow by around 7 percent next year, a slowdown from a projected 7.5 percent in 2015, the central bank said on Tuesday.

Inflation is likely to increase above 5 percent next year, Banco De Mozambique said, without giving a specific figure. Foreign exchange reserves fell to $2.3 billion by September compared with $4.6 billion in December last year, it said.
