The Japanese Deputy Minister for Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Takatoshi Nishiwaki says his country plans to cooperate with Mozambique to build infrastructure. The official is leading a delegation of 25 business people from the sectors of construction, consulting and engineering.
Japan has recently been an important partner of the Mozambican government in building infrastructure, current investing up to $300 million to begin on the second phase of modernization and expansion of the northern city of Nacala’s port in Nampula province.
