Call for proposal: “Agriculture Fast Track Fund” managed by AfDB

The Agriculture Fast Track Fund provides grant funds up to US$ 1.5 million for project development costs such as feasibility studies, market research, financial modelling, business plan development and environmental and social impact studies.

COUNTRIES AFDB
welcomes applications from Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal and Tanzania.

1 March 2016.

TARGET
The Agriculture Fast Track Fund grants are targeted at agriculture infrastructure projects with a total investment of over US$ 1 million located in any of the countries mentioned above, for grants between US$ 100,000 and US$ 1,500,000.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the agriculture sector
  • Government agencies preparing agriculture infrastructure projects
  • NGOs and civil society organizations such as farmer organizations
  • Agriculture Fund Managers with clients seeking last mile financing or advisory services to formulate bankable agricultural development proposals

Women organizations are strongly encouraged to apply

CRITERIA FOR GRANT APPROVAL
Grant applications are reviewed and approved based on country eligibility, potential smallholder impact, infrastructure, investment size and investment project preparation activities.
