Swaziland will benefit from Italian solar power technology where it will use wind mill to ensure a constant supply of electricity.
A team from SP International, a Mozambican company appointed the African distributor of Italian manufactured products, will be in Swaziland this week to make demonstrations to various stakeholders on the viability of the project in the country.
SP Administrator Spiros Esculudes says the company will bring in new innovative technology that will make it easier for Swazis to use solar power, which, at individual level, will enable them to provide power for refrigerators, air-conditioning and television sets.
The initiative is a result of the visit of King Mswati III to Mozambique last week where he attended the official opening of the Ressano Garcia Power Station in Mozambique.
