Some more good news for Lucapa Diamond Company: On Monday, the miner announced that the Angolan government has granted it a new kimberlite exploration licence for the Lulo diamond project.

According to Mining Weekly, the license covers the entire 3 000 km2 Projecto Lulo concession.

The license “enables the Lulo partners to finalise a mineral investment contract for the new licence, which will include a programme of exploration activities for the five-year period”, according to the same source.
