Full payment of salaries for civil servants for the month of December and the last installment of the thirteenth month will be paid until the 30th of this month, said the National Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance.

In a statement, the Ministry of Finance informs that the remunerations for the previous months have been completely paid and there is no delay in the salaries of civil servants and other social benefits.

This situation is due to the constraints of the current financial situation, the document says.

Despite this, according to the Ministry of Finance, the Angolan Government has sought to satisfactorily honor its main commitments, especially the debt service, the payment of salaries and the basic operating expenses of the State, as a result of a strict prudential fiscal management.
