Angola Capital Markets Commission outlines guidelines for next five years

The Capital Markets Commission (CMC) is announcing as from Wednesday its strategies for the next five years, Angop has learnt.

This will be during a meeting with the key players in the financial system in Angola, running from 1 to 3 February.

The 5th Annual Meeting aims to identify the main challenges for the implementation of a dynamic capital market.

Angop also learnt that the forum aims to gather contributions from the main market players.

The event will also be attended by guests from various sectors of society and representatives of the Angolan financial system, ranging from banking to insurance.

Different institutions registered with CMC and the Angola’s Stock Exchange (BODIVA), will also join the meeting.

The CMC is tasked with regulating, supervising, overseeing and promoting the securities markets and derivatives.
