Angolan veterinary physicians to get professional badges

The chairperson of the Angolan Veterinary Physicians Association, Maria Antonieta Baptista, said that her institution will in the coming year bet on the granting of professional badges to those ones who exercise the jobs without such a document.

She said so to Angop on Saturday on the fringes of the Annual General Assembly for auditing and approval of the activities plan for the current year.

The physician stressed that there are no reasons for acknowledged professionals to do this activity illegally, since there are already mechanisms in the country to recognize their studies through the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Higher Education Institute and the Veterinary Physicians Association.

According to her, these mechanisms aim at preventing illegal activities by professionals who are not veterinary physicians.
