The Diamond Cooperative “Caissesse Diamond” has created 200 jobs as result of USD 1 million investment in diamond exploration in Xá-Muteba region, eastern Lunda Norte province.
The information was released Wednesday by the Company’s CEO, Pedro Zela.
Pedro Zela was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of working visit by the first Secretary of the ruling MPLA party, Ernesto Muangala, to the region.
The official said to rely on the support of the diamond exploration company (Endiama-EP). The official also said that the Project comprises three hectares of land and is in the first phase of geological prospection.
According to him, the move is part of private initiative to create job for rural youths with family responsibility.
