National Reserve Bank (BNA) sale in foreign currency fell to €88.7 million (US$ 99 million) in the last seven days (June 19 -23), a reduction of 62% compared to the previous week, Angop has learned.
Of the amount above, €38.6 million went to cover Credit Letters, €22.8 million for operations of various sectors and €8.9 million to secure the health sector.
€8.9 million went to Credit Cards, €5.4 million in air transport,€1.4 million was earmarked for operations in Ministries and Institutions of State and €2.5 million for Health sector.
The average reference exchange rate for the American currency at weekend stood at Usd=Akz 166,742.
The average reference exchange rate for the European currency at weekend was Eur=Akz 186,296.
