Angola’s Lactiangol Invests over US$20 million in new production line

At least 27 million dollars was invested by Angolan Dairy Company (Lactiangol) in assembling a new production line unveiled Monday in Luanda.

The new production line was a result of investment of Angolan Development Bank (BDA) thus the invested amount aimed to boost the production capacity in order to ensure quality standards and update the technical services to respond the demands.

Lactiangol with this investment will produce 1200 kilos of butte, 7.000 liters of Yogurt per day, 5.000 liters of natural Yogurt perday, 13.000 Liters of UHT processed milk and 20.000 liters of reception milk in nature.

During the inauguration ceremony by the Minister of Industry, Bernarda Martins stressed the importance of the Project in this hard time that the country is experiencing, opening a door to proceeds with distribution of schools meals started by Lactiangol.

Lactiangol’s CEO, José César Macedo, said that the investment will boost production capacity of milk, yogurt, butter, as well as competitiveness, and return of the company.
