At least two billion kwanzas was provided by the Young Entrepreneur Loan Support Line (Projovem) to finance 200 projects, announced today the State secretary for Youth, Guilhermina Fundanga.
Speaking at the opening of the global entrepreneurship week in Angola, which runs from 13 to 18 this month, at the Conference Center of Belas, the official stressed that the investment covered a total of 16 provinces in the country.
He said that more than 600 projects were returned by the Bank of Commerce and Industry (BCI) for not being properly compliant with the regulations of the program.
In spite of this, the country counts on the creativity and imagination of the youth so that it is possible to reverse the current situation and continue to grow in different sectors, ensuring that the concerns will be submitted for analysis and discussion of the technical group for the due attention to the slogan “Improve what is right and correct what is wrong”.
She stressed that the commitment of the Angolan Government is to diversify the national economy, creating, for this purpose, an excellent business environment, both for investors, and young entrepreneurs.
