Angola Capital Markets Commission analyses privatisations through stock exchange

The process of privatizing public companies through the Stock Exchange, in accordance with the Government’s Intercalate Plan, is being analyzed in Luanda by the staff of the Capital Markets Commission (CMC), attached to the Ministry of Finance.

Meeting at the VI Annual Meeting of Managers, in the municipality of Cacuaco, under the guidance of its chairman of the Board of Directors, Mário Gavião, participants will also discuss matters about the role of supervisory agents around the privatization process.

The meeting, which will take place from January 31 to February 2, at closed door, aims to project the actions to be implemented in 2018, in order to stimulate the Capital Market in Angola and generate an inclusive debate around these actions, privatization process.

One of the public companies in view is Angola Telecom, which is currently being evaluated in terms of the current financial conditions and other aspects necessary for this process.
