Everett resumes Mozambique operations

Everett Aviation has resumed operations in Mozambique with the deployment of a BK117-C1 C9-EXM helicopter, the company announced on 24 February.

The BK117-C1 C9-EXM is a locally registered helicopter configured to carry out a range of missions including passenger transport, medical evaluation and utility work.

Simon Everett, CEO, Everett Aviation, said: ‘Everett has operated in Mozambique for many years and now holds an Air Operators Certificate there.

‘Over recent months we have answered a number of urgent calls for support in Mozambique and so we have now taken the decision to base one of our versatile BK117 helicopters in country so that we can respond very quickly to our clients’ needs.’

The company will operate out of Palma.
