Angola: more energy supply for Luanda Government

More than 300,000 families will be supplied with electricity until next year, in Luanda province, Angolan energy and water minister João Baptista Borges said on Tuesday.

The minister, who was speaking to the programme “Big Interview” of the Public Television of Angola (TPA), alluded to an ongoing programme for the installation of energy distribution networks, which is expected to be concluded in 2019.

The minister undrlined that the country produces 60 percent of electrical energy from water sources and 40 from thermal sources.
