Mozambican Voices: Roberto Chitsondzo
Share via QRWhatsappShare on FacebookShare on TwitterLinkedInPinteresteMail

Roberto Chitsondzo is one of those artists who assume the role of father of an entire nation.

Originally known for being one of the voices and guitar of the traditional band Ghorwane, Chitsondzo flies solo in his project Kwiri: an album-book that comes to mark a new phase in his long career.

The search for a more personal sound – dissociated from the work done in his original band – is visible: the songs are even more revealing of their relationship with the guitar and with the themes they call the Mozambican for reflection.
