The Angolan Airlines (TAAG) is the only flight operator of the country authorized to fly without restriction to the airspace and territories of the European Union member countries.

The Angolan company sees now its Third Country Operator (TCO) license being renovated for the third time.

In a press release sent to Angop Tuesday, the national airline company informed that, after complying with the relevant standards included in the annexes to the International Civil Aviation Convention, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) decided to renew the license of the operator.

The company got the authorization from these international institutions for the first time in 2016, since then, the Angolan airlines has sought to secure continued compliance with standards embroiled in the annex of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the Chicago Convention, reads the note.
