Angola Central Bank sells €222M to commercial banks

The National Bank of Angola (BNA) sold at auction on Monday the amount of EUR 222, 72 million in the primary market to cover operations for the regularization of final delays (commodities and services).

The amount is to cover the salaries of foreign employees going up to monthly individual value of EUR 13, 5 thousands covering the services and health sector, such as medicines, hospital equipment and travels.

At least 25 commercial banks took part in the auction.
