The return of foreign investment in Angola from 2002 to 2017 was 50 percent, while the capital invested by Angolans in other countries only registered 2 percent return .

The figures are part of the Economic Report of Angola 2017 from the Catholic University, released Monday in Luanda.

In the same period (2002 to 2017), Angolan investments abroad totaled USD 213 billion, while foreign investments in the country reached 188.4 billion US dollars.

According to the aforementioned publication, from the Catholic University’s Study Center, foreign companies operating in the country each year earned USD 4 billion.

In this regard, professor and economic researcher Francisco Paulo, who was speaking at the launching session of the Economic Report, advised Angolan investors to invest in the country.
