With a planned daily production of 230 cubic meters of wood, the wood exploitation and processing unit, called “Abwiki” and installed in the Industrial Pole of Malanje, begins its activity in January 2019.

The information was provided today by the owner of the aforementioned factory, Carlos Cunha, noting that it has a global investment of 100 million dollars and at this time they only finalize the purchase of cutting-edge equipment to start.

Located in the town of Kinguila, municipality of Malanje, the unit, according to Carlos Cunha, aims to relaunch the manufacture of carpentry parts in the province and will provide 150 jobs for national and expatriate citizens.

With the creation of the factory, the province will contribute to the generation of jobs and income of families, as well as to increase the national production in the timber domain.
