Ncondezi Energy said a technical due diligence site visit in Mozambique by its strategic partner China Machinery Engineering had been completed.
The visit was part of a process to prepare the engineering, procurement and construction, and operations and maintenance contracts for the integrated Ncondezi 300 megawatt coal-fired power project and coal mine in Tete.
Submission of the contracts was on target for the fourth quarter of 2019, Ncondezi Energy said.
