On the next 20th of January, the UK Department for International Development together with the Department for International Trade and Foreign & Commonwealth Office, will be hosting this year’s Africa Investment Summit in London.
At a time when international trade is changing dramatically due to consequences of the US-China situation, the summit is welcome as a very positive initiative providing a senior stage for opportunities arising from BREXIT. The UK has a strong history of trading with Africa and that’s likely to be reinforced by new agreements taking place during and as a result of the summit.
Hosted by Prime Minister Boris Jonhson, the event will bring together heads of state, business leaders, senior government officials and international institutions showcasing and promoting the breadth and quality of investment opportunities across Africa.
The Summit aims to strengthen the UK’s partnership with African nations to build a secure and prosperous future. It will mobilise new and substantial investment to create jobs and boost mutual prosperity.
See you in London!
