Angola AIPEX and UAE trade chamber sign memorandum

The Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Angola (AIPEX) and the Angola/United Arab Emirates Chamber of Commerce and Industry initialled last Tuesday, in Luanda, a memorandum of understanding for negotiations of credit lines and financing packages.

With the Agreement Memorandum, both parts intend as well to identify the opportunities of investment and export as well as the access to market information.

The document will enable to establish the principles and cooperation basis between both parties for the promotion of good business environment in Angola, fostering strategic private investment partnerships for priority sectors of the national economy.

The AIPEX CEO, António Henriques, announced during the session the holding of the 10th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) from 23 to 25 March, to take place in Dubai City.

The Angola/UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed with the AIM, in 2019, in Dubai, a Memorandum of Understanding with the objective to attract investments for the country and link the investment opportunities to the economic growth capacity of the countries.

On his turn, Angola/UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry CEO, Bráulio Martins, stated that this memorandum constitutes trade partnership among both countries.
