Angolan Foreign Minister Manuel Augusto reiterated his ministerial department’s commitment to keep on attracting external investments aimed to ensure the sustainable economic development of the country.

The minister was speaking Wednesday to the press on the sidelines of inauguration of the USD 98 million-Polytechnic Fisheries Institute (Cefopescas) by president João Lourenço in Luanda.

Manuel Augusto said the political stability in Spain with the new Government will allow the resumption of a set of cooperation programmes, which had been affected in the last two years due to the political uncertainty prevailed in that European country.

The official highlighted that the political stability in Spain will also enable the resumption of debates on cooperation programmes with Angola.

Manuel Augusto said that Spain is the Angolan main partner in sectors of fisheries with the technical support in the fisheries industry.
