The Coca-Cola Company introduced Schweppes Novida Pineapple to the Ethiopian market. The launch was held at the Marriott Hotel in Addis, along with a fashion show featuring some of the best designers in Ethiopia.
The fruit-flavored light malt non-alcoholic drink, Coca-Cola relates, stands to testify their efforts to bring innovative and new products into the market, so consumers in Ethiopia has more to choose from.
Daryl Wilson, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, speaking at the launching, said, “At Coca-Cola, we are dedicated to the continuous innovation of our products to meet the growing demands and beverage preferences of consumers.”
Tigist Getu, Coca-Cola’s brand manager for Ethiopia and the Horn, remarked, “We are very happy to bring Novida Pineapple to the Ethiopian market and we are confident that consumers will love the new great-tasting, malt beverage”.
The launch of Schweppes Novida Pineapple is pointed out to be a significant milestone for Coca-Cola in Ethiopia, as this is the first fruit-flavored malt drink the company has brought into the Ethiopian market.
