A forum on the oil industry, called “PetroTalks”, will take place on Friday (06), in Luanda, under the theme “The Restructuring of the Angolan Oil Sector”, Angop learned on Monday.
This is the third edition of the event, organized by the company Petroangola, owner of the first Angolan website specialized in oil, gas and renewable energies.
The event will analyze the challenges of the new management model of the national oil industry, highlighting the separation of Sonangol’s concessionary function, the creation of the National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels and the Regulatory Institute for Crude Oil By-products.
The forum aims at achieving greater coordination, eliminating conflicts of interest, increasing transparency and efficiency, as well as creating favourable conditions for investment.
“PetroTalks” is an event for professionals, companies, investors, employees and students in the Angolan oil sector.
The event, which will feature debate sessions, will include the display of new products, technologies, innovations, new ideas and business opportunities in the energy sector.
“PetroTalks” promotes the exchange of technical knowledge about current and proven technologies through the presentation of technical documents, and may include panels.
For the third edition, the roundtable will have the participation of the entrepreneur Lago de Carvalho, the specialist in Oil and Gas José de Oliveira, as well as two representatives of Petroangola, João Gaspar and Patrício Wanderley Quingongo (CEO).
