Mozambique’s government has integrated a security regulation against acts of unlawful interference into the country’s aviation laws, the cabinet announced.
The measure aims to “strengthen existing measures regarding airport security,” according to Filimão Suazi, spokesman for the body.
According to the President of the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique, João Abreu, today’s approval aims to “regulate and block the void that could appear in the regulation of air transport, which is universal”.
