The thought of getting groceries from your favourite market is now much better and hassle-free.

RG-Consult Inc, an e-commerce firm, has launched an online platform linking grocery shoppers to Kigali’s biggest market, Kimironko market.

www.kimironkomarket.rw “The Home of Groceries”, allows city dwellers to shop at Kimironko Market located in Gasabo District with a mere click.

Shopping and Home delivery experience of groceries is now much easier to access than before.

Shoppers can now have all their groceries delivered at their doorsteps and be rest assured of Fresh, Quality groceries wherever they may be.

The Managing Director of RG-Consult Inc, Remmygious says the new normal has put innovators to test on finding solutions that are absolutely in line with the guidelines of observing social distancing and using cashless transactions while going about business.

“We are in the business of bringing over 2,500 women and youth in this market get their products to the consumers, and also linking the thousands of women and youth in the agricultural sector find a market for their products not leaving out our youth that will be doing the deliveries across the board,” he said.

“We bring a great specific into the e-commerce trend of creating a full grocery store that supports the locals not supermarkets, meaning our customers can trust our quality and prices to be very competitive and affordable,” he added.

The company says the platform will allow people to support those at the bottom of the value chain by buying their produce.

Lubega says their payment methods are all cashless. One of the payment methods is Airtel Money. It allows clients to pay on delivery using an Airtel payment code.

Purchases can be made in different packages such as family bouquet, Isange package, Ikaze package, Imbuto package, and Vegetable package.
