The minister of Finance, Vera Daves, appealed last Tuesday to the new officials of the Capital Market Commission (CMC) to contribute with bold measures, for a greater dynamism of this institution.
The Finance minister wants to count on the teams’ ability to strengthen the market.
Vera Daves swore in Maria da Conceição Uini Baptista as chairwoman of the Board of Directors of CMC, as well as the other board members.
The new president of CMC, Maria Uini Baptista, promised to raise the awareness of this body, both nationally and internationally.

Data from the Annual Report of Activities and Accounts 2019 of the Capital Market Commission indicate a positive performance of the sector.
With regard to the Capital Market, the volume of transactions on the Angolan Debt and Securities Exchange (BODIVA) reached approximately 874.16 billion Kwanzas, which represents an increase of 10% compared to 2018.
CMC has sought to ensure the necessary conditions for the market to function, with a set of actions in line with its mission and strategic objectives.
