The Provincial Migration Services in Niassa are reopening four border posts in a process which started last week under the Presidential Decree on the gradual relaxation of coronavirus prevention measures.
A first phase covers the border crossings with Malawi and Tanzania at Matchedje, Mandimba and Entre-Lagos.
The spokesman for the Provincial Migration Services in Niassa, Almeida Metenge, said that the institution had also resumed issuing documents to foreign citizens residing in the national territory.
