Mauritius’ central bank has revoked the banking licence of Century Banking Corporation Ltd, it said on Wednesday, without stating the reasons for the move.
Century started operations as an Islamic lender in the Indian Ocean island nation in 2011, the bankers association said on its website.
The cancellation of the licence took effect on Aug. 24, the central bank said in a statement.
