An aura of coastal life sweeps across Tanzania by default. It is a welcoming sign to the great land revered for its deep mastery of the Swahili language far and beyond the African continent.

However, being in Tanzania is just the beginning of a beautiful story. Heading out to South East of the capital Dar es Salaam is Kigamboni where the amazing tale of time spent in Tanzania begins to build. Hotel South Beach Resort pampers you, shapes the story but tragically, you cannot have enough of this even in a lifetime!

Hotel South Beach Resort popularly known as South Beach overlooks a pristine ribbon of powdery sand and aquamarine waters. The hotel features an exclusive location on the Indian Ocean front in Dar es Salaam making it the most exquisite and highly-sought-after beach hotel in Kigamboni with a reputation of among other things, an array of leisure activities of both adults and children.

Hotel South Beach Resort’s glory extends to its classy and stylish 36 rooms stealing a gaze at the seaside. They are great for a soothing ocean breeze and have good views of the pristine ocean waters, all without much hassle. The sun-soaking while in the rooms is more of intelligent architectural design than just a favour by mother nature.

Each room is air-conditioned, features a private balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean, a safe and a satellite TV. The mornings are perfect for a balcony hangout to watch the sunrise and also watch it sets in the evening.

At Rifu’s Bar and Grill, you get your taste buds to a delightful culinary journey with Indian, Chinese and local Tanzanian dishes. What makes Rifu Restaurant even better is the speed of service – fast, friendly and hospital. Once the stomach is taken care of, the Whisky Shack, South Beach Resort’s second bar feeds your urge for your favourite drink while relaxing in huts overlooking the ocean.

Hotel South Beach Resort also features a modern sports lounge just a few steps away from the beach. It is designed in such a way that it keeps you off the scorching sun but abounds with bouts of the fine ocean breeze. The sports lounge has pool tables, a projector for major entertainment and a kids playing area with swings, slides, monkey bars and lots of entertainment. There is also beach volleyball for recreational purposes, both for adults and children.

The resort’s swimming pool also features a dance floor topped by rain simulation. Isn’t this magical! Interestingly, the largest Jacuzzi in this part of Tanzania is in Hotel South Beach Resort with a capacity of 22 people. The good news, it is directly under the sun. A walk around this property is fascinating with beach huts all over the property. One thing stands out about South Beach Resort; it is one of Tanzania’s cleanest beaches.

Besides its vacation friendliness, South Beach is known for its conferencing facilities tailored to suit the clients’ needs. From intimate groups to exclusive use options for larger conferences, the dedicated onsite conference team will ensure the success of your event. Four elegantly appointed, fully air-conditioned halls namely; Kigamboni, Kibugumo, Kibada and Kimbiji are available to host conferences and events. The rooms can also be opened up as one huge area that can accommodate up to 400 people.

For corporate functions including retreats, South Beach can hold up to 3,500 people. Last but not least, this is the place to make a lifetime memory during your wedding. You can choose to hold the entire event here and everything including décor, food, transport and entertainment will be catered for within a pocket-friendly budget.
