The Mozambican government approved the creation of the National Agency for Geospatial Development, with the objective of coordinating and promoting good geospatial planning.
The new Organic Statute of the National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (INTIC) was also approved during the same cabinet session.
A statement sent to TVM indicates that the decree that approves the INTIC Organic Statute aims to redefine and adjust the organisation, operation and management of the INTIC/IP to norms established in paragraph 1 of article 82 of Law no. 7/2012, of 8 February – the Basic Law for the Organization and Functioning of Public Administration.
The cabinet also approved criteria to be observed in the definition of remunerations, rights and benefits of the members of the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
