Huawei partners Mondia Pay for contactless Digital Payment in MEA region

Huawei has partnered with Mondia Pay, a leading digital payments provider to offer increased Direct Carrier Billing services and in-app purchase kit to users. Mondia Pay will be available as a direct carrier billing and e-wallet on Huawei’s AppGallery.

The partnership will increase Huawei’s reach across the Middle East and African region. Also, Huawei and HONOR users in about 20 countries to securely make cashless payments without using ATM cards. This feature is available on the Mondia Pay mobile app on the AppGallery.

Mondia Pay is the leading fintech company in the Middle East and African region. It provides simple, fast, and secure payment channels for customers.

This partnership solves the issue surrounding low credit card penetration in most markets in the region. It supports cashless withdrawals and safeguards people from transmitting COVID-19.

Customers across the continent will benefit from our fully integrated digital payment technology to make frictionless payments in a fast, safe, and secure manner. We also support the natural progression towards cashless societies, fast-tracked by current affairs such as COVID-19,” said Simon Rahmann, CEO Mondia Pay.
