ATIGS Group has just confirmed that its Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) will be held on October 27 & 28, 2021, in Dubai, UAE.

For this upcoming edition, preparations have now begun to ensure the best possible results for the event, designed as the landmark global-Africa business platform to foster foreign direct investment in Africa and promote international trade.

The recently-ratified African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is poised to be a new and much-welcomed element as it is poised to serve as a powerful catalyst towards achieving new business deals and trade opportunities in the African Continent. AfCFTA promises to open new possibilities for African leaders, corporations and entrepreneurs to come together and create a gigantic marketplace through what is now the world’s largest free trade area. The AfCFTA connects 1.3 billion people across 55 countries, with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at US$3.4T.

In light of the new normal we are currently living in, digital solutions have become paramount in events of such a scale, in order to upkeep the safety and wellbeing of all attendees. To that extent, ATIGS Group has struck a deal with Rwanda-based digital solutions firm Wouessi.

Wouessi is a Tech and Digital services company focused on delivering digital solutions by combining solid business foundations with global technical and digital expertise. With a diverse team of young and dynamic tech and social savvy professionals, they aim to become a catalyst for the transformation of Africa into a leading market in the global economy in the coming decade.

ATIGS Dubai 2021 will be using a Touch-Free Digital Check-in Counter and Wouessi will be in charge of digital solutions to help ATIGS delegates stay safe.

More information on the Touch-Free Digital Check-in solution can be found in the video below:

Throughout its previous editions, ATIGS has steadily become the go-to event for all who wish to realise new investment projects, reinforce pre-existing partnerships and prospect new strategical opportunities in Africa and beyond, through the various thematic workshops, presentations, and networking sessions the summit organises.
