South African artist Master KG, most famous for the international hit Jerusalema, has won the 2020 MTV EMA Award for Best African act, it was announced this Sunday, during the awards presentation.
Master KG beat other talented African singers in the category, including last year’s winner, BurnaBoy, as well as Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa (South Africa), Sheebah (Uganda), Gaz Mawete (Democratic Republic of The Congo) and Rema (Nigeria).
