Angola has risen 37 places in the countries reputation index by the British communications agency FutureBrand, from 69th to 32nd position, reveals the annual study published Thursday.
According to Portugal’s Lusa news agency, the basis of this rise is the country’s “political transition and new world projection.”
Data showed that until 2019 Angola was in 69th place, below countries such as Sudan, Myanmar or Kazakhstan, but this year it had overtaken Argentina, Brazil, Greece and China.
The FutureBrand Index takes a list of countries representing the 75 leaders in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to World Bank criteria, and sorting them according to their image and reputation internationally.
