The construction works of Emirates Touristic Resort, the largest mixed-use development project off the plains and foothills of the Atlas Mountains in Marrakesh the third-largest city in Morocco, is proceeding well. This is according to the project’s developer, the Dubai-based GVG Real Estate Development which provides unique innovative real estate solutions for distressed projects and the best services in the industry.
Extending over more than 47 million sq. ft. area, the Emirates Touristic Resort features 350 modern residential villas with a distinctive Emirati style, 36 hotel apartment buildings with lush green landscapes, medical tourism centers, a spa, a sauna, shopping units, restaurants, cafes, sports complexes, swimming pools as well as green parks.
The implementation of the project
The project is being developed in four phases. Phase 1 and 2, which include infrastructure works, are nearing the completion stages with the first batch of residential villas having passed the 80% construction milestone and the first batch of hotel apartment buildings having crossed the 40% mark of construction.
The Founder and President of the project developing company Mr. Ali Al Salami said that the teams on the ground are continuing to develop the project, with the aim of completing the first two phases by the second quarter of 2021. “At this time we will begin the handover process which includes over 97 residential villas and 8 buildings containing 120 hotel apartments to investors,” said the GVG Real Estate Development founder and president.
Involvement of the GVG in the Emirates Touristic Resort project
Al Salami explained that the project was previously known as “Green Valley City” before work halted last year, and this is where they came in and acquired the project, appointed well-known contractors, and injected huge investments to resume construction and deliver to investors what was promised.
