The signing on Wednesday of the concession contract for the provision of electronic communications services between the Angolan Institute of Communications (INACOM) and the North American Africell demonstrates growth in American investment outside the oil sector in Angola.
This assessment was made by the ambassador of the United States of America (USA) to Angola, Nina Maria Fite, when she was speaking to the press following the signing of the agreement.
It is a great investment outside the oil sector, said the diplomat, adding that it shows how American investment in Angola is growing.

Nina Maria Fite said that Americans always bring technology and will create more jobs across the country, and consequently technical, technological and economic development.
Africell actually starts operating in the third quarter of this year, with an investment of more than US$300M and is expected to create more than six thousand jobs.
For INACOM, the signing of the contract results in the need for the electronic communications sector in Angola to adapt to the constant global evolution, adapting to the emerging of new business models and innovative services.
