TUI Group, one of the largest tour operators in the world, recently announced that it will open two additional resorts in Cape Verde, adding 1,600 rooms to the capacity already in the ground with their seven resorts operated before the start of the covid19pandemic.
TUI Magic Life, a four stars hotel, will be one of the global tour operator new offers, with 575 rooms, water park and five pools, spread over 108,000 square meters of beach on the island of Boa Vista, supported by an investment of 78.4 million euros that will create 431 jobs direct.
Located in the amazing Chaves beach (Boa Vista), with 5km long with sands and crystal waters, will be the 1st of its kind in West Africa, joining 16 other TUI Magic Life clubs located in Spain, Greece, Turkey and North Africa.
To refer that in addition to this TUI Group already completed a new Hotel located in Sal island adding 1,001 rooms to existing capacity, after an investment on excess of 100 million euros, and that will create more than 600 jobs.
In the meantime, two new investment projects of similar nature will be brough to life in island of São Vicente, with a total 61.9 million euros targeted for development of five-star Sheraton Hotel in Mindelo (“Four points by Sheraton”) comprising 128 rooms and with opening target to July 2022, and later on a Le Meredien Hotel to be built in São Vicente (opening expected January 2025) with capacity of 172 rooms.
To refer that as per International SOS, a well-known medical and security services company, Cape Verde stands as one of the safest countries for tourists to visit in 2021, along with destinations such as Greenland, Switzerland, Slovenia and Norway. (Consult link below for more information).
