If you are looking for specialised African adventure, African bush camps bring such adventures. These camps will give you an authentic experience with the wildlife beyond what you can imagine. In Botswana, you will find some of these Bush Camps.

Linyanti Bush Camp

Linyanti Bush Camp will provide you with a life-changing African Bush Camp wilderness adventure. The camp offers an exclusive Chobe safari experience in a private concession on Botswana’s famed Chobe National Park, with only six luxury tents.

The Chobe Enclave is home to many wildlife, including enormous herds of elephants and buffalo. Chobe safari resort is on the banks of the Linyanti Wetlands, a large area that serves as one of the key water sources during the dry season. Year-round, expect spectacular and diverse wildlife experiences.

They offer game drives in the morning, afternoon, and evening. They have walking safaris and canoe rides.

Linyanti Ebony.

Linyanti Ebony

At the core of the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park is the Linyanti Ebony. It is a small African bush camp with only four tents, ideal for a more intimate and family-oriented safari lodge experience. It is a one-of-a-kind location where you may enjoy a “digital detox” while immersing yourself in an authentic and game-filled safari experience.

Linyanti Ebony is an intimate tented camp with panoramic views of its stunning natural location, built on high decking overlooking the Linyanti Marsh. The camp’s thoughtful design provides a genuine, environmentally responsible base to explore this important region.

On your Chobe safari, the main area includes a spacious living and dining room, a glittering plunge pool, a cozy fire circle, and a boma; the ideal place to enhance family relationships.

The two-bedroom family tent includes a self-contained lounge space and private terrace with views of the wetlands and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower and roll-top bath. Linyanti Ebony can be reserved exclusively for larger family groups or groups of friends travelling together, with a minimum of eight persons.

You can experience an array of different wild animals. There are lions, wild dogs, and some elusive species. You can hear the hippos and frogs at night as you enjoy your supper.

Linyanti Expeditions

This African bush camp is seasonal. The camp has an intimate ambience, with only six tents offering customized attention for each guest. Two canvas-covered hubs make up the main room: a dining area with an exposed kitchen and an open lounge.

As in most of our camps, the bonfire is the focal point, attracting guests outside to enjoy the authentic African bush experience. The tents are firmly planted on the ground, providing an added sense of natural connection. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with chemical-free toilets and bucket showers outside.

The star suite’ is the room’s wow factor. Each tent includes a gazebo extension with mattresses that can be moved at night to give the sense of sleeping beneath a blanket of glistening stars, immersing oneself in the beauties of the environment while remaining safe in a mesh-enclosed area.

You can go on walking safaris, mokoro trips, day and night game drives. For bird lovers, you can enjoy some Carmine bee-eaters nests. There is something for every family member.

Khwai Bush Camp

The Khwai Bush Camp has four standard cabins (one with a fireplace) and two family chalets, all of which are en-suite.

From the privacy of your chalet’s cool, thatched interior or the porch that overlooks the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, watch the majesty of Africa unfold. Each guest room has a fan as well as charging stations for batteries. There are also charging stations in the main lodge area for your convenience.

Enjoy lazy afternoons by the lovely pool while taking in the tranquil floodplain scenery. Have an aperitif around our vibrant fire circle before eating hearty, homestyle meals at our family-style feasts. Walking safaris, bird watching, river activities, and game drives spotting Africa’s renowned wildlife species such as the lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and giraffe are among the activities available. This is an African bush camp you will enjoy.

Khwai Leadwood

This picturesque African bush camp is under the trees on the brink of the Khwai River in the Okavango Delta’s community-run Khwai Concession.

Even the most seasoned safari veterans will find watching these creatures manoeuvre through the water to be an unforgettable experience.

It has six tents, and one family unit is housed in the attractively built camp, keeping with the personal and exclusive wilderness experience. The new camp seamlessly blends luxurious accommodations with the experience of being in the great African outdoors.

Another advantage of this location is that guests can go on night drives and get up close and personal with some of Africa’s nocturnal and elusive wildlife.

Migration Expedition

The Nxai pan National park is the place to have a front-row seat to the zebra migration. It is the longest migration from Namibia to the Nxai Pan area. It is all in the protected areas of the Kavango-Zambezi. This African bush camp is ideal for this expedition.

At Migration Expeditions, you enjoy an incredible peace that comes from gazing out over the horizon and having your own space. Morning and afternoon game drives inside the national park. In addition, you will have excursions to Baine’s Baobabs all included in your Nxai pan safari. Six canvas tents will be on low decks with bucket showers. There are two large area tents that will house the living and dining sections.

Zebra Migration.

The Migration Expeditions allow for a seamless transition between the pure desert landscape and our sophisticated bush camp. The main room divides into two canvas-covered hubs.

On one side is a dining area with an open kitchen and on the other side housing a cosy lounge area. You will find solar-powered charging stations for those all-important cameras. The fire circle extends the shared lounge area and is at the core of our bush camp offering. Its seductive charm entices visitors to join us for an authentic, pleasant African safari experience.
