Mozambique’s Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, Helena Kida, is on a working visit to Rwanda whose main objective is to strengthen cooperation in matters related to the justice sector.
In the context of this visit, on Friday (June 3) in Kigali, Minister Helena Mateus Kida and the Minister of State in charge of Constitutional and Legal Affairs in the Ministry of Justice of Rwanda, Nyirahabimana Soline, signed an Extradition Treaty and a Mutual Legal assistance in criminal matters Agreement, the Rwandan Ministry of Justice has just reported on Twitter.

Minister Kida held working meetings with several entities, notably the Ministry of Justice of Rwanda, the Directorate General of the Rwanda Investigation Bureau and the Rwanda Forensic Laboratory, which has cutting-edge technology and collaborates in the production of material evidence.

Regarding matters related to violence against children, Rwanda is seeing a reduction in case numbers as a result of robust preventative measures.
It was in this context that Minister Kida visited the Prevention Office to learn about the entity’s work in search of a reduction in abuse against minors.
