The government has reiterated that it will continue to provide the business sector with training solutions targeting the oil and gas industry.
Speaking at a workshop on local content for the Coral South FLNG project, Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, António Saíde, said that the business sector must in turn acquaint itself with the resulting opportunities.
The workshop in Pemba city, Cabo Delgado province, was aimed at showcasing to Mozambican entrepreneurs business opportunities in the project’s goods and services supply chain.
The deputy minister urged Mozambican businesspeople to invest in domestic and international partnerships to help meet the standards required by the oil industry.
He added that the government would continue to work at creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to access training and other ways to boost local content.
