For its second batch of the VFA Fintech Product Management Bootcamp, Venture for Africa (VFA), an immersion program and talent community designed to help top local and international talent transfer into the African startup ecosystem, is now taking applications.

Participants will learn about creating exceptional products for the African market through carefully selected content that is contextually rich, interactive online workshops with product managers at some of the continent’s fastest-growing fintech companies, case studies, and real-world problem set faced by VFA’s startup partners.

Additionally, they will learn more about the key participants in the African fintech market, the fundamental business models used in the sector, the product strategies used to produce fintech solutions, the life cycles of software development, and user and customer needs.

Mid-level business unit leaders from traditional banking who want to switch to working in product management in a tech startup, mid-level to senior-level consultants with experience working on businesses in the financial services industry, and mid-level to senior-level PMs who have built capacity in more traditional organizations are examples of ideal participants.

To better equip prospective and current product managers in Africa’s fintech area, the VFA Fintech Product Management Bootcamp has developed a 12-week training curriculum.
