The Secretary of State for the Economy Ivan dos Santos said Sunday that the increase in products made in Angola will give another dynamic to the country’s economy.

Ivan dos Santos, who was speaking at the closing of the “Expo Feito em Angola” Expo Made in Angola, said the fair served to show that the country is producing internally and the increase will give new life to the country’s economic sector.

The event, said Ivan dos Santos, made it possible to do business and exchange experiences among producers – “which is an added value for the growth of the productive sector and trade”, he underlined.

On the other hand, he expressed his desire to see products completely made in Angola on the national market in the near future, which, in his opinion, would be a source of great pride for all Angolans.

The Secretary of State reassured the producers, saying that foundations are being launched so that their activities can be facilitated, referring, above all, to the transport sector to better move the products from the countryside.

The first edition of Expo Feito em Angola (EFA) focused on the exchange of experiences among the various producers from 16 of the country’s 18 provinces and some foreign participants who spent five days at the ZEE exhibition pavilion.

In this debut edition, EFA had more than 150 exhibitors and over 200 products made in Angola.
