MEST Africa accepting applications for the class of 2024

The MEST Africa Training Program is now accepting applications for its 2024 cohort.

This 12-month course, which will be physically held in Accra, is aimed at teaching young people from all across the continent commercial technology and entrepreneurial skills.

Over 800 young African tech entrepreneurs have received training through the Training Program, which was established in 2008 as a fully financed project by the Meltwater Foundation.

Graduates of the program have gone on to found over 80 firms and received seed funding, which has resulted in thousands of jobs being generated throughout the continent.

The MEST Training program, which is one of the leading pan-African programs of its kind, goes beyond software instruction to equip budding entrepreneurs with training in business, marketing, communication, and other soft skills.

The fully financed program offers up to $100,000 in seed capital and business incubation to high-potential firms coming out of the program, which also focuses on assisting aspiring entrepreneurs to establish, grow, and expand successful tech enterprises in Africa.

Some of the fastest-growing firms on the continent across a variety of industries have come from MEST.
