He also toured Northern Kenya, which is inhabited by nomads rearing goats, sheep, cows and camels. But sheep and camels were most fascinating for him, his wife and their kids, who accompanied him for a Kenyan safari.

Who Are Other Celebrities Who Visited Kenya?

In 2019, Selena Gomez’s visit to Kenya came much to the surprise of many people because she was all praises about this African country. Flying to Kenya for ten days was the best decision she had ever made in her life. In retrospect, it came after a series of hard times; she only wanted to keep it to herself.

The American pop star says her visit to Kenya means so much more than you can imagine. It is her dream home which she can’t trade for anything. She captures her greatest life moments, her lowest, and her struggles. For instance, the American singer recounts how her 10-day journey to Kenya drastically transformed her life. This was after struggling with her mental health for the past six years.

Then there is Sabrina Dhowre, wife to British blockbuster star and Hollywood sensation Idriss Elba who considers Kenya a second home. She toured rural Kenya, deep in the interiors of Embu County in Central Kenya. She took a tour of agricultural initiatives supported by the UN Fund for Agricultural Development.

Here, scores of women welcomed her with their signature ‘Firirinda’ dance. Sabrina couldn’t hide the awe from her face as she shook a leg with her host of the day. She shared photos on her Instagram page describing her meeting with women from rural Kenya as incredible.
