Raxio to launch data center in Angola early 2024

Pan-African data center developer and operator, Raxio Group, has announced plans to develop the first carrier-neutral Tier III data center in Angola, featuring 6MW of IT capacity. The firm has already secured land for the facility in Angola’s Cacuaco District near Luanda, with commissioning anticipated in February 2024.

“Angola has a growing demand for connectivity and related services. It is also geographically placed to become a connectivity hub in the region, making it an important market for our growing portfolio,” commented Robert Mullins, CEO of Raxio Group.

Raxio Group builds and operates data centers across Africa for colocation, cross-connect, fiber and IT infrastructure services and has activities inIvory Coast, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.
