“The new route will play an important role in boosting trade between Europe and the rest of the world,” the airlines said Tuesday.
Apart from the freighter services, Ethiopian will resume its passenger flight service to Copenhagen starting from May 2023.
The Airlines will deploy Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 315 seat arrangement on the route.
The five-weekly flight services will further increase Ethiopian’s cargo capacity using the belly hold of its passenger aircraft.
Ethiopian first started serving Copenhagen in November 1999 but the flight was suspended about four years later.
Currently, Ethiopian Airlines is serving more than 145 domestic and international passenger and cargo destinations.
