As per the agreement, Ethio Telecom will deploy and provide information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and services for the federal courts.

The courts, the telco says, will be equipped with a reliable power supply backup network and secured network modular data center, cloud service, video surveillance, OTN system, network operation center, wide and local area networks as well as software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN).

The infrastructures would enhance the federal courts’ capacity to provide fast, efficient, modern, and accessible judicial services to clients, according to Ethio Telecom.

The services will be guided by the e-court system being developed by the federal supreme court.

“The completion of this infrastructure would enable the federal courts’ judicial services to be accessible, reliable, create accessibility of information to its stakeholders,… thereby increasing public confidence in judicial services,” the telco said.
